1st June 2022 | LBSG Chair | Leave a comment Woolly postbox toppers are appearing to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee. Usually attached to the tops of pillar boxes, the creations are either crocheted or knitted in a wide range of colours and can be the result of many hours of patient work. The craze began during the first lockdown, but the Jubilee has seen a big increase in the numbers of toppers appearing all over the country. As long as the toppers don’t make it difficult for people to post letters or for the postbox to be opened, Royal Mail don’t have any objections and have tweeted that they love to see them. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-61491792
